ESFA Tailor Rod – First Edition (Final Sale)
This is where the ESFA Tailor Rod story began.
The original ESFA Tailor Rod was our very first commercially manufactured rod – the first time we took a design from concept to a proper offshore factory run. Finished in classic green and gold (and gold and green), it was never meant to be the prettiest rod on the rack… but it was built to catch fish.
And that’s exactly what it has done.
Over the seasons these rods have proven themselves time and time again on Australian beaches and rock platforms, landing solid numbers of tailor for anglers who simply wanted a reliable, purpose-built tool that got the job done. The blank has the right amount of tip for working metals and soft plastics, with enough backbone to control hard-running fish when they turn on.
This is the rod that laid the foundation for everything that followed in the ESFA Tailor series.
